I am relatively new to the breed, but working on getting a good breeding program going.  I currently have 2 Blue cocks, 3 black cocks, 1 splash cockerel, 1 blue hen, 1 black hen, and 1 black pullet. 

One of the black cocks will be used, the others are in the process of being re-homed, as they do not possess the traits that I will be selecting for.  The females that I will be using come from three different lines (or at least this is what I have been told)–Schock, Twisted Feather Farms, and the Memphis zoo. 

I would like to find another decent male and a few more hens in order to be able to properly start a good program with a variance in blood.  If anyone has any questions or comments, please feel free to post them. 

Thanks Doug.  I am in Arkansas so not sure that I will be able to make Lucasville, eventhough I would really like to.  Finding good, reputable breeders in my area has been quite difficult, but I wont give up.  All else fails, I will resort to having birds shipped. 

I was also informed that Forrest Buefford is rasing Sumatras, but not sure.  I will try to track down contact info for Travis.  Doug, I have sent my dues in.  Will you let me know when you receive them?
